Andre J. Millan writes literary fiction — character-driven novels and novellas about guilt, silence, and the slow cost of the things people refuse to say. His stories tend to begin with an ordinary life held under pressure, and to follow it past the point where silence stops working.
His debut, The Record of a Seam, follows a man confronted with a signature that is supposed to be his — and the family history the document quietly points toward. A second novella, The Unlabeled File, is on the way.
